For students:
(BSc, MSc and PhD thesis works)

Research work at levels of BSc, MSc and PhD studies is possible, including accomplishment of the thesis work. The work is related to studies of atomic and molecular interactions using laser techniques. The students will have the possibility to work at up-to-date experimental apparatus and learn modern experimental techniques. The students will learn to work with supersonic molecular beams and vacuum apparatus, to perform mass spectrometry and ion imaging, and to master sophisticated laser systems as well as various laser spectroscopy techniques. For PhD level students chances to develop project management and communication skills will be provided. Training abroad in laboratories of partner research teams is also possible.

Location of the laboratory – Zellu Str. 8, Riga, in the basement of the main building of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.
